Basic Overview of How it works:
Spam Trap
VirusGator traps the spam into a spam trap automatically.
The vast majority of spam messages are "one-shot"
messages from people with any type of ISP account.
VirusGator will automatically flag only the messages
that appear to be spam and request the sending server
to retry. This automatically traps much spam since
the spammers are often not using "real"
mail servers.
Heuristics
Using a variety of heuristic methodologies, over
98% of spam is identified and held in a pending cue
for a period of time that the domain administrator
sets (up to 45 days). If any legitimate mail should
end up misidentified as spam, the domain administrator
may log in to the Virusgator control panel and release
the message.
Control
The VirusGator Control Panel allows for complete
control over your email. You can choose to whitelist
or blacklist certain networks, email addresses, or
domains. You can rejected or allow certain emails
